چکیده

The elimination of necrotic and inflamed pulp tissue, dentin debris, microorganisms is essential for the success endodontic treatment. However, root canal’s complexity has led to incomplete cleaning disinfection. This study aims compare efficacy penetrability three different irrigation activating techniques apical third canal. Sixty sound single-rooted human mandibular premolars are prepared with rotary instrumentation under continuous sodium hypochlorite irrigation. Three activation utilized: group 1 (n = 20), conventional needle (CN); 2 side-vented (EN); 3 manual gutta-percha cone (MA). assessed aid a radiopaque solution using digital radiography in conjunction cone-beam computed tomographic (CBCT) measurements. Data analyzed statistical package social sciences (SPSS), multiple comparisons baseline test values. One-way analysis variance post hoc (Tukey honestly significant difference) performed detect statistically differences between groups. Manual (MA) shows effective delivery irrigant into full WL, followed by (EN) (CN) methods (p < 0.001). results present show that maximum observed gutta comparison (CN).

Correlation Between Tissue Densities in Computed Tomography and Three Different Cone-Beam Computed Tomography Units (In Vitro)

Background and Aim: Bone density is of great assistance in the selection of the proper implant site. The present study aimed to assess the correlation between tissue densities in computed tomography (CT) and three different cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) units. Materials and Methods: In this descriptive study, a radiographic phantom consisting of a transparent polymethyl methacrylate (PM...

Radiological assessment of periapical healing using the cone beam computed tomography periapical index: case report

Periapical radiography is essential in diagnosis, treatment planning and follow-up in endodontics. However, image interpretation can be confounded by geometric distortion, superimposition of regional anatomy and technique errors. These problems can be overcome by utilizing small or limited-volume cone beamcomputed tomography imaging techniques, which produce accurate 3-D images of the teeth and...
